Qualifying as a Referee

Duration: 3 hours

This course has been designed specifically for those who wish to start their refereeing career, refereeing children (u8-u12s).
This course will provide you with a solid basis on which you can continue to build and improve your skills as a referee.
By the end of the course the delegates will:
The course is a mixture of practical and classroom based activities. Delegates must be aged 14 years of age or over. No prior experience is necessary.

This course is for new and developing referees wanting to referee the 15-a-side game and will equip candidates with the skills and confidence to do so effectively. It is delivered using a mixture of practical and classroom based activities.

Crucial to learning is that a significant part of both awards are practically based, for example, all delegates will have an opportunity to observe refereeing in practice, whilst demonstrating individual skills on the field of play.
