Ever thought about refereeing but don’t know if it’s for you? Why not try it out free of charge? Kent Referee Society is looking to recruit more women into refereeing and is funding 10 free places on a level 2 refs course.

Who should apply? You may be a former player who would like to stay involved in the game. Maybe you’re a student studying GCSE or A-Level PE and fancy using refereeing as your coursework/practical. Click on the Video to listen how Laura got started and what she has been doing since completing a referee course whilst she was doing her A-levels.

It’s a 2-day course and could be up and running in no time, on the pathway to becoming a rugby referee.
